Pole and Aerial Small Group Fitness Studio

Open (Mixed) Level Aerials

This class is taught by:

Nicole Smith

Aerials Instructor

Originally from Kitchener, Nicole grew up being a competitive gymnast which fed her passion for physical art and body awareness. As an adult, aerial arts became her new love to keep physically, mentally and spiritually healthy. Through the years Nicole has studied at a number of circus schools including École Nationale de Cirque, in Montreal, Quebec. She has taken her love of aerials and wants to share this exciting form of art and fitness with others through instructing. Nicole now lives on the outskirts of Stratford with her partner, a bunch of rescue animals and some chickens.
Open (Mixed) Level Aerials is an instructed class that is open to all levels and apparatus. Students will participate in group warm up and conditioning with modifications provided for all levels, then the instructor will move from student to student (or sub-groups of students) and work with them on moves at their own level.

While the instructor works with individuals and smaller groups, the other students in the class will be given moves to review and practice as well as conditioning and flexibility exercises they can work on individually until the whole group comes together again at the end of class for a cool down and flexibility training.

Please note: At this time, Advanced Hoop and Silks skills will not be taught during this session. Advanced students may attend if they wish to review skills already learned in previous classes.
