Our Cirque Kids and Youth Aerials classes (descriptions below) for ages 8-15 run in 8 week sessions and meet on the same day, at the same time, every week.  Pre-registration is required.  


Please note, we will accept youth ages 15-17 in regular adult curriculum classes, with parent/guardian permission.  Please contact the studio if you wish to enrol a youth in a class other than Youth Aerials.

Cirque Kids:

Mondays 5:00 - 6:00pm

Class Descriptions

Does your child climb anything and everything in sight? Why not sign them up for the circus themed classes?  Aerial arts are a great way for kids to build strength, coordination, and confidence. During an 8 week session, children will have the opportunity to experience multiple apparatuses, including aerial hammock, silks, hoop and static/dance trapeze, learning basic technique and skills on each. Each class starts with playing fun, active, circus themed games, warming up the body. The children will also learn to stretch safely to maintain or increase flexibility and prevent injury. Class sizes are small (a maximum of 6 students per instructor), and children will progress at their own speed and comfort level.
Is your preteen or teen enchanted with the beautiful acts they’ve seen performed in Cirque du Soleil style shows? Now they can try aerial arts for themselves. Aerials are a great way for youth to build strength, coordination, and confidence.

Basic technique and skills will be taught on both aerial silks and hoop and students may also be introduced to aerial hammock and static trapeze. Class sizes are kept small (a maximum of 6 students to one instructor), and students will progress at their own speed and comfort level.
