In this 1.5 hour workshop with professional burlesque performer, Sassy Ray, you will bump, grind, tease and peel your way through an easy to learn classic burlesque routine. No dance experience required.  Bring gloves and a robe (any style) to learn the classic art of the peel and reveal.

Pre-requisites:  No dance experience required.  

Age Restriction:  18+

What to wear/bring:  We suggest wearing comfortable athletic wear that you can move in, such as shorts and a tank top or a body suit, and that you will layer the robe over.  Please bring evening gloves and a dressing gown style robe.  Shoes are optional.  If you do choose to bring shoes, clean, indoor ballroom, character, or jazz dance shoes are appropriate.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT ADULT CONTENT:  Burlesque dance generally involves strip-tease elements and the choreography will be of a sensual or sexually suggestive nature.  This workshop is a safe, non-judgmental space.  You will always have the choice to opt out of anything that you don't wish to participate in and disrepspectful behaviour towards others will not be tolerated.
