Territorial Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that the land upon which the Brass Butterflies studio stands today is located on the Haldimand Tract, land that was granted to the Haudenosaunee of the Six Nations of the Grand River, and is situated within the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe and Neutral Peoples. We offer this acknowledgement as one small step among many on the journey of education, understanding, and reconciliation between indigenous and non-indigenous peoples who live, work, and play on this land.
