Beginner Partner Acro with Suzy & Owen gives you the opportunity to empower yourself and others. Diving deep into the foundations of partner acro so you can build up the strength & courage to try new things and truly discover the joy of moving with another person. This is a beginner workshop and no experience is required.  This is NOT a sensual/romantic workshop.

NOTE:  You can register for this workshop as an individual or with a partner (each person needs to pay and register separately even if coming with a partner).  If you attend as an individual, you will be partnered with one or more other participants in the workshop, and there will be physical contact between you, facilitated by Suzy and Owen.  All physical contact between participants will be respectful and consensual at all times.

About Suzy and Owen:  Suzy and Owen are acrobatic partners who hail from London, ON, out of The Academy.  They have performed their acro and hand to hand acts in professional shows across North America.

Pre-requisites:  No dance experience required.  

Age Restriction:  18+

What to wear/bring:  We suggest wearing comfortable, form fitting, athletic wear that you can move in, such as leggings or shorts and a tank top or t-shirt.  If you have long hair, please tie it back.  This workshop is done in stocking feet.  Please bring clean socks.  

Cancellations and Refunds:  No refunds, make-ups, or account credit for student late cancellations or no-shows.  Please note, workshop late cancellation window is 72 hours. Please contact the studio if you know you will not be able to attend after registering.
