Whether you want to have more fun in the bedroom or get moving like Magic Mike, this workshop is for you, no experience required.
This workshop is geared toward couples and you do need to bring your own partner. Your partner should be comfortable with intimate physical contact between you, but please note that there will be no nudity or overt sexual acts in this workshop. Save that for at home, after the workshop. ;) For the purpose of this workshop, a couple means two consenting adults. Gender identification and sexual orientation do not matter.
The price for this workshop is for two people. Only one person of the couple needs to register and pay for the workshop, but you will be asked to fill out a form with your partner's information during the registration process and they will be asked to sign their own participant waiver and assumption of risk form upon arrival at the studio.
About Suzy and Owen: Suzy and Owen are acrobatic partners who hail from London, ON, out of The Academy. They have performed their acro and hand to hand acts in professional shows across North America.
Pre-requisites: No dance experience required.
Age Restriction: 18+
What to wear/bring: We suggest wearing comfortable athletic wear that you can move in, such as shorts, leggings, or track pants, and a tank top or t-shirt. Shoes are optional. If you do choose to bring shoes, clean, indoor heels, are appropriate.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT ADULT CONTENT: The choreography and skills taught in this workshop will be of a sensual and sexually suggestive nature. This workshop is a safe, non-judgmental space to consensually explore your sensual side with your partner. You will always have the choice to opt out of any part of the class that you don't feel comfortable with and it is a good idea for you and your partner to discuss your comfort levels and how you will communicate about consent in advance of the workshop. Any kind of disrepspectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
